This is a recipe from one of the elderly women in the community when I was child.
Purpose flour 4 cups.
2. Cup shortening.
Salt 2 tsps.
Sugar 1 tablespoon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 / 2 cup water
1 tablespoon white vinegar.
1 egg
Mix together flour, salt,. Baking powder, sugar and cut shorter. Add Water, vinegar and eggs. Mix well and cool before rolling out.
Note: This flour can be frozen for later use.

3 tablespoons cornstarch.
1 1 / 2 cup cold water
3 slightly beaten egg yolk.

Margarine 1 tablespoon
1 9-inch pastry shell.

1 / 3 cup sugar
In Pan 2 – qt simultaneously sugar Gently stir 1 cup water and cornstarch until smooth. With egg yolks in the ingredients always excited to boil over medium heat, boil one minute.
